Shustoke is situated on the B4114 Coleshill - Nuneaton road, with easy access by road from Birmingham Airport, The National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham International Railway Station, Hams Hall Business Park, The Belfry, the M6 and M42 motorways and soon, the Birmingham Northern Relief Road (will be known as M6 Toll).
Shustoke still maintains its village character in a quiet rural setting. It is ideal for the business traveller who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is also a pleasant place to stop for a few days enabling the intrepid walker to enjoy the delights of our countryside, with many public footpaths around the village and surrounding countryside, and also being close the The Heart of England Way.
For the naturalist there is Ladywalk Nature Reserve close by, the Coton Lakes and Kingsbury Water Park as well as other wild areas off the beaten track, resulting in the area being a haven for wildlife. Right on our doorstep is Shustoke Reservoir, a haven for wildflowers in the early spring, as well as unusual birds, and is a great place for a pleasant stroll.
If you want a quiet place to stay then Shustoke is the place, but if you enjoy some night life, then Birmingham City Centre is only approximately 30 minutes by car from Shustoke village. Coleshill, 10 minutes away has many pubs and restaurants and local shops. If you are stopping in Shustoke, then The Plough Inn (in the village centre) and The Griffin (by Shustoke Church) serve good meals and are highly recommended.
